The Galaxy of Chaos[1] is a website which was founded by Michael H in May 2000 as a smaller site of personal information. By 2006 it had expanded to include fictional stories, random quotes, videos, pictures, a separate blog site, and this wiki.

Early Days
In 2000, Michael set up his "World of Chaos' site, which was programmed in Windows Notepad and consisted of five pages. Originally an experiment in HTML programming on his ISP webspace, Michael kept the site "just for the fun of it."
Of the early stuff uploaded to the site was information on himself, Power Rangers, Judo and some photos. It was the latter of these ideas which expanded first, with photos taken of social events. This quickly became very popular with all of Michael's friends and acquaintances.
Twin Sites
With the photos being added taking up the majority of the webspace, space was running out. Michael managed to obtain some extra webspace on another ISP server, but that meant dividing up the site in two, with all of Michael's personal information and photos on the new BT site, and the Power Rangers minisite on the second site. Although this worked, navigating the new combined site with a very long sidebar was clumsy and the redirects kept becoming inaccurate.
It was at this time in 2002 that the name "Galaxy of Chaos" replaced "World of Chaos" as the amount of information on the site expanded.
New Hosting
As of 2002, Michael made the decision to buy his own domain and hosting, and combined the site on one server, with a new navigational structure. Since that time, the site has cost money, money which Michael pays single-handedly. The amount of photos on the site has increased significantly, as has the number of visitors.
Another change was that, because of the increasing difficulty of the naviagtion to program, Michael started using Microsoft FrontPage to code his site, mixing FrontPage's navigational ease with his own HTML programming experise.
Recent Changes
In 2005, with the launch of Version 8.1 of the site came the introduction of the Beta site. This site is a MSN Space, with blog and picture hosting capabilities. On this site, Michael writes random comments and observations.
As of 2006, the Galaxy of Chaos has reached Version X. With this version, much of the coding had been updated from that which Microsoft Frontpage installs automatically. Also altered was the server that the site is hosted on, moving from BargainHost to Heart Internet.
The main change with Version X is the launch of the Wiki Site, the site you're currently navigating.
